The courses at the High School level are "technology courses"
focused on the qualification of technicians. After the
completion of all requirements, students will be able
to enter immediately in the job market. More so, these
courses provide to the students, the opportunity for
follow ahead in their studies in the area in which they
received the certificate.
COURSE STRUCTURE
1.1. DURATION
The minimum time for the fulfillment of the program
will be of tres years. The maximum time will be of three
years and half, being necessary in that an agreement
of the direction of the course.
1.2. TEACHING OF THE CLASSES
The subjects will be offered by means of intensive modules.
The days and time of the classes through video-conference
will be schedulled by the professor in agreement with
the teachers of each place. The modules will be of 1,
2 or 3 credits depending on the subject. Each credit
equals to 16 class hours, including all of the requirements
of the subject, such as tests, projects and others.
1.3. WORKLOAD
The courses will have the duration of 2400 hours/class,
including 360 h/c of period of supervised training.
They will be 56 credits.
1.4. ADMISSIONS
All registrants must have finished middle school in
order to sign-up. The candidates will be accepted according
to the criteria of the course directors, once the registration
and the required documentation have been examined.
1.5. COURSE CONCLUSION
In order to receive the certificate of conclusion of
the course, the student will be required to fulfill
all of the program of the course, in agreement with
article 1.3 displayed above.
1.6. ATTENDANCE
The required attendance for conclusion, by subject,
is of 75%.
1.7. INTERNSHIP
The supervision of all interns will be done by the local
coordinator, who will also give all instruction and
requirements to the students.
1.8. NUMBER OF VACANCIES
The minor courses will have limited vacancies, up to
the criteria of the local coordinator. The number of
students per class will depend upon the facilities and
the possibilities of participating in the video-conference,
being possible the registration of new students at each
new module. The minimum number of 15 students will be
needed for the start of a new class.
1.9. CONTENT
The curriculum of each minor course will have it's own
characteristics according to the area of study that
it belong.
