American Christian University is a non profit organization, incorporated under the laws of Georgia. ACU is also exempt from Federal income tax under section 501 (c) (3) of the internal revenue code. American Christian University is in the process to fulfill all requirements to apply for recognition with the Distance Education and Training Council – DETC, entity that recognizes E-Learing Schools in the U.S.A.

Diplomas and Certificates
American Christian University offers technical courses on a high school, minor's, bachelor's, master's and doctorate's levels on the areas of:

- Agricultural Sciences
- Health and Biological Sciences
- Technological and Exact Sciences
- Human Sciences, Litterature and Arts

The courses of technology in the high school level are focused on the qualification of technicians that after the completion of all requirements, the person will be able to enter immediately in the job market. More so, these courses provide to the students, the opportunity for follow ahead in their studies in the area in which they received the certificate.
